Feb is about reflections and self love. Combining the idea of a maiden looking at her reflection in a pond in a fairytale with the feeling of freshly emerging from the shower, I abstracted the reflection surfaces to show that, sense of self isn’t tangible, it’s something to be felt. I’ve used art as a medium to process negative emotions so I created something from a place of love and beauty. 

Using the skills my family taught me I knit the net with 400 ft of floral wire to cover each flower which was dyed, and folded by hand. This small net representing, self imposed limits cannot contain the blessings and beauty of the flowers.
